Daniel C Potts

Daniel has over 10 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Daniel has extensive knowledge of laws, rules and regulations involving tax deferred savings plans, as well as the North Carolina State Retirement program for public school employees.

Daniel completed his education at Appalachian State University, where he received his BS in Business Administration with a dual major in Finance and Banking, and Risk Management and Insurance. While in college, he was an active member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. Currently Daniel serves on the board of Community in Schools in Rowan County. He is a graduate of the 2021-2022 Leadership Rowan program sponsored by the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Salisbury Elks Lodge, Rowan County Wildlife Club, The Rowan County Chamber of Commerce, White Bluff Plantation Hunt Club, and The Rotary Club of Salisbury.

Daniel holds his Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 registrations, in addition to state insurance licenses. His main goal is to help clients across the Carolinas protect what is important to them while they plan for their futures.  

Daniel married his wife Jessica in 2018. They have a son named Mason and a daughter named Avery. They reside in Salisbury, North Carolina, where they are active members of their community. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fly fishing.
