Kathleen Shepherd

Kathleen grew up in eastern North Carolina in the small town of Pantego. She attended NC State University, where she earned a degree in Textile Engineering and then moved to Atlanta, Georgia for six years to work in technical sales for a multi-national textile company. After a two-year travel and backpacking sabbatical, she became the director of research and development for a protective clothing manufacturer in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. With an interest in personal finance and a desire for a career change, she joined Robinson and Associates in early 2023.

Kathleen brings fifteen years of problem solving, customer relationship, and engineering experience to this new role. She is looking forward to serving the North Carolina school system and has a heart for educators, having been raised by a hardworking public-school teacher. Kathleen holds her Series 6, Series 63, and Series 65 securities registrations, as well as North Carolina Life and Health Insurance licenses. Today, she enjoys living in Wilkesboro with her husband and two children.
